Introduction to Developer 6i's Form Builder (Four days)
This accelerated course will cover Oracle's powerful form building tool. Form Builder is Oracle's RAD (Rapid Application Development) tool. Forms are scalable applications that are used to modify Oracle databases. Students will learn how to build and deploy Oracle forms. They will learn how to use the Data Block Wizard and the Layout Wizard, understand the use of properties, create List of Values, radio buttons, check boxes, list boxes, tie the applications together through the use of menus, and how to use a host of other form tools.
New Features of Developer 6i (1 Day)
This course will cover the added features of the latest release of Developer 2000. These consist of frames, tab canvases, right button definition, hierarchical items, ref cursors, and the wizards used in Forms Designer. The course will also cover the new features of Oracle Reports.
This course will cover the Oracle Discoverer 2000. The purpose of this product is to give users a method of extracting information from a database without having to write SQL. This is an ideal product for use with a data warehouse. This course will show the student how to set up the database objects and how the users will access them for information.
